Privacy Policy

Data Recowery is operated by Prime Global Technologies Inc. (Prime Data Recovery Services), 855 Alness St, Unit 20, Toronto, ON M3J 2X3, Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect and how we use it. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
- Case details: your name, email, phone number and ship-from address, plus what you tell us about your device and its problem.
- Payment details: when you pay, your card is handled by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
- Website data: basic technical data such as your browser type and pages visited, used to keep the site secure and working. We do not use advertising trackers.
How we use it
We use your information only to run your case: to send your shipping label and customs form, to diagnose your device, to give you your price, to deliver your files, to return your device and to send you case updates. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not send marketing emails unless you ask for them.
The data on your device
Your files belong to you. We access them only as far as needed to recover and verify them. Only our lab engineers work on your device. We keep a working copy of your recovered data for 30 days after delivery and then delete it securely.
Who we share it with
Only with the service providers we need to run your case: shipping carriers and customs brokers (name, address and package details), our payment processor, and our email and website hosting providers. Each receives only what it needs for that task.
Where it is stored
Our lab is in Canada. Some of our service providers may store data in the United States or other countries, where it may be subject to local laws.
How long we keep it
We keep case records for as long as tax and accounting laws require, usually up to 7 years. Recovered data is deleted 30 days after delivery, as described above.
Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your personal information, subject to the records we must keep by law. Write to info@datarecowery.com and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
