We are a Canadian lab with 15+ years of experience, run by Prime Data Recovery Services, and we say so up front. Shipping from most of the US takes 2–4 days, about the same as shipping across the country.
Is it safe to ship my drive to Canada?
Yes. Packed the way our guide shows, a drive travels safely with any major carrier. We track every box and confirm when it arrives.
Will I deal with customs?
We send a pre-filled customs form with your case. Any duties or broker fees are on us.
Who can see my files?
Only the engineer on your case. Your data is wiped from our systems after you confirm you have it.

How much does data recovery cost?
Evaluation and shipping both ways are free. Logical recovery starts at $299 and physical recovery at $319, depending on the failure and the drive size. Donor parts, when needed, are billed at cost. Use the price calculator for your exact maximum price.
What if you can't recover my data?
You pay nothing for the recovery. If you decline the quote, we ship your device back.
How long does it take?
We diagnose your drive the day it arrives. Most logical cases finish within a few days of approval; physical cases depend on parts.
Should I try recovery software first?
Not if the drive clicks, beeps or is not detected. Running software on a failing drive can destroy what is left. Power it off and open a case.
How do I get my data back?
On an encrypted external drive shipped to you, or as a secure download link for smaller cases.
